Almost time!

I can't believe that it is almost time for the twins to be here. I feel like just yesterday we found out that we were going to be having TWINS! My induction is set for August 15th, if they decide to stay put until then. I have been having some contractions off and on all night last night and some of today, but nothing is timeable or consistent with the contractions. I go back to the perinatologist on Wednesday and we should find out how much they weigh and then on Thursday I go to the OB and we will see if I have dialated anymore and if they think I will make it another two weeks.

The Thomas Twins

I know it has been a while since I updated, but here it goes. Shortly after my last update in March we decided to go in and have a 3D ultrasound done to find out what the baby was only to find out we were having TWINS!!!! We didn't know what to think at first, we were scared, nervous, and excited all at the same time. At our anatomy ultrasound in April we found out that the twins are identical girls. We have decided on the names Journey Faith and Aryonna Hope. Madisyn and Abygail are both excited to be big sisters but I don't think they understand that we are going to have two new babies not just one. I have been going to my regular OB Dr. every two weeks just so that they can monitor the babies and I closer since I am considered high risk for carrying twins. I have been seeing the Perinatologist (high risk Dr.) once a month so far. I go back to see the peri on the 22nd. Everyone keeps asking me if it has set in that we are having twins and I'm not sure that the reality of having twins is going to set in until I actually deliver them. Until next time....

A family of 4 becoming a family of 5

Well since I have had some people asking I might as well update our blog. Shortly after Christmas vacation we found out I was pregnant with baby #3. We waited to tell most people we were expecting until after I hit that 12 week mark because of the miscarriage I had in October. I am now 15 weeks and have our gender ultrasound scheduled for April 8th. We are wating a boy this time but will be just as happy with another girl as long as baby is healthy. I was recently in the ER about a month and a half ago because I was having a gull bladder attack. Luckily I have not had any problems recently since they don't like to remove it during pregnancy. Well until next time...

Christmas Time

Well it's that time of year again. I can't believe another year has gone by. Abygail is 14 months today and finally walking everywhere and Madisyn is 27 months and talking up a storm. They both amaze me each day at what new things they have learned. Madisyn now walks around asking anyone that is in the house/car if they want to fight and we have no idea where she learned this from either. And of course if we tell her no she will say "well I want to fight you." I can't believe that this time next week we will be in the van on the way to Indiana for 10 days to spend Christmas with our families!!!! We are all excited to go home since we did not go home last year for Christmas. Well until next time...

Vacation

Well here it goes my first blog!

Well today was the day that Madisyn and Abygail left with my mom and dad for a week to Indiana. I have no idea what I am going to do with myself while I have no kids, especially at night since I will be able to get a full nights sleep! It has only been a few hours since the girls left and my house is so quiet since Marleigh and Maria, the girls I babysit, are sleeping.

I have recently decided that I want to finish losing the baby weight from Madisyn! I have started the P90X and so far so good. Let me tell you it is tough, you have to have a mindset that you CAN and that you are not going to give up! I can tell a difference already and it has only been a few days. I have lost a few pounds and I feel like my pants are falling down every two minutes!

Well that's it for now I will update later.
